Te Ahurei Toi o Tāmaki | Auckland Arts Festival 2023 has come to a close, and we have put together a short video to help sum up what an incredible Festival it was. Can you spot any familiar faces?
During AAF 2023 more than 60,000 people enjoyed 50+ ticketed and free events, including approximately 20,000 who attended SPARK Auckland in Pukekawa / Auckland Domain.
Across Tāmaki Makaurau, 36 venues played host to our events. We were thrilled to support more than 1,000 school students in attending productions, workshops, and discussions presented by close to 700 participating artists.
We want to thank you for your support, whether it be through buying a ticket or sharing a free experience with your friends and whānau. Everyone here at AAF works with passion to stage a Festival that brings people together, creates moments of joy, and develops a sense of pride within communities.
